speaking of coming out ...

a friend of mine from china just came out to me last night. apparently he wasn't really in the closet before, but he was never out, either. he had never remarked about hot guys or anything. but last night around 4am we were talking on the phone (i was smashed) and he started talking about this guy he's been hanging out with ... i was like, woah. it really rocked my world, much more than any other news i've heard in the past few months ...

he called again today, and my sober self was able to corroborate what my drunken self had understood: he's bi. (okay, maybe he's just saying that for now ... he could really just be gay.)
